Meet Our Team

Terry was born and raised in Roanoke in a family of nurses (mom, aunts) and has always felt a calling for caring for others and making a difference in their lives. For her, it’s a pleasure to care for older adults and help them remain in their homes. After getting her Nursing degree (Magna Cum Laude!) from Virginia Western in 1997, she worked in ICU, PCU, and the Emergency Department for the next 22 years before joining our team. In her capacity with our company, Terry oversees our Personal Care program, doing client evaluations, supervising our caregiver staff, and managing compliance with our state licensure’s regulatory requirements. She brings a quiet competence and comforting presence to every interaction with our clients, their family members, and our care staff.

Terry has a diverse background and interests beyond nursing. She lived in Anchorage, Alaska for 4 years, and it was here that her oldest daughter was born. Her passions include the Lord, her family, her cat, riding her motorcycle, and marksmanship.
